How to set one static editor window in background and other static edior text on top in vc++ ?

I am working on vlc library libvlc in mfc vc++.In this, I have two static editor window .In one window video is playing and in another window, I send the text.I want that this text will display on top of the video but the text is displayed behind the video. So please suggest how to play the video in the background window display the text in front window?

Your question looks more appropriate for the "Windows" forum.

I am not expert here, but I believe there is a variable (z or z something) that determines the position of the window. If i remember corretly the higher the number the more on top it is.

This might be found in the information when you create the window.
