I think it's learning mehtod is quite weird. You immediately start with high en structures and stuff. But I heard so many good things about this book. I hope its good? Anyone has experience with it?

I own that book, and I find it excellent. The approach may be unusual, but it makes a lot more sense. You start learning how to use the standard library and only later do you look at what's underneath. It's solid, it won't teach you bad practices, I highly recommend it.
