If i begin learning c++ now, Could i make a decent game to help me, atleast be a finalist,in this competition:

thankfully it doesnt matter what platform your game is for. And it is a KIDS contest( i am 13) they wont expect a stunning game. but something fun.


and what should i use? Buckys or visual studio? to easily make a game like the one BELOW


the game i want to enter is a 2D physics based game that's an angry birds look-alike(blocks instead of birds). but the catch is this angry birds look alike has portals that YOU need to place to make the block(bird) land in the basket. It plan to make it called ORP

WIll buckys or visual studio be more likely to quickly but simply make this?

how many lines of code will it take?
