qMake.exe for windows 7

Believe mr becaus I want to go back to C++ now wth my old PC and my old books afetre 10 years of retirement ; I'm not rich enough to buy a new computer and I try to configure an environnmen to write some code again but it's difficult
After some researchs it looks that qtCreator is the most common EDI acceptable.
So I have downmoaded some old versions of QTcreator (Windows7 Compatible)like QTcreatot 3.6.0 and 4.0.3 but I can't make none of them work because I cannot point on the correct qMake.exe mainly.I have downloaded one qmake.exe because it's probably too recent because the tool kits can't recognize it.
Can you send any qmake.exe like the none I need please ?
I'm shure you will get something back from that in an other life ... !!!

For what I can see, you could be just experiencing some installation issue. What about trying a ‘clean install’? I mean, what about uninstalling all the versions you’ve installed, clean the Windows registry by means of some tool like CCleaner or similar, reboot and try to install Qt again?
I’d follow the most straightforward method, like executing the online installer proposed by the download page.

Thank you for your reply but the latest versions of Qtcreator are not compatible with any other version than Windows 10, I suppose because it's not with mine ANYWAY, as you probably know ... so that the root of my problem.
I can't get any versions of QT appearing on the addQTversions what ever I do !
