how to write to excel using C++

I am having trouble finding how to wright to excel from c++ and i am not understanding why some of the things that i find don't work.. i am wondering if you have any ideas that will help me find a code that i can use to write to an excel spread sheet from c++ programming code..

ok thanks that helps alittle bit.. but i still dont know what to put in the #inlcude part. it says that excel8.h and excel9.h are no such file or directory. what do you think the problem is
