Hi, I really can't think of a good way to word this, but I'll do my best.
I am trying to type something out. Specifically something on the internet, for example if I wanted to write a program to automatically search Google for something. I would open Firefox and have the program type in whatever I wanted it to search for. I know its a relatively odd question, but Thank you if you can offer any help.

In Windows, there is a section of the .NET API for simulating keypresses... across other platforms I'd have to do a bit more digging.
