display2() help

I am supposed to have the user enter a character to use as the header and the number of times they want to have it printed, and the footer character and the number of times they want to have it printed. I am supposed to use display2() and a for loop to print the header, then cout to print everything else in the middle, then display2() to print the user inputted footer. How would i use the display2()
