I doubt that you would be given an assignment on C++ that requires previous knowledge when you have none. Unless, of course, you haven't been working on it when you were supposed to...

Right on Zhuge! ;) I always don't like the "ASAP" and "NEED ANSWER RIGHT AWAY" text in topic headers...Try to do it first yourself, that's how you learn programming. If you really can't figure out ask your professor (I assume you're at school since you need to do some assignments..) or try to go to classes sometimes and really pay attention to what your prof. is teachin'.
