I've wanted to strat studying programming on my own and I'd like to recieve few books or tutorials that would help me learn.
i'm most interested in C#, .NET platform, and PHP.
A few books in C++ will also be very helpful.

The C++ Programming Language: Third Edition by Bjarne Stroustrup with Effective C++ programming: Third Edition by Scott Meyers is what I can recommend for professional c++ programming.
