learning c++

so i think i got the basics of "basic input and output" and when i move unto the other tutorials it begins to get a little more ... non understandable? confusing? so i am wondering whether buying a book on c++ is really the way to learn it well on my own? or just tough it up and read and re-read the tutorials over and over?
Here's a post of mine from HackForums:

Just click the links, I'm too lazy to fix it for this board xD
Do you experiment with the code examples? that helps a lot
Reading books is the best way to learn, in my opinion.
