Class version

What is meant by a class version. I know what a class is, but ive never heard anything referred to a version
That's not a regular phrase in c++, and it's kind of too general. There's two things that come to mind on hearing this phrase;

It might be a reference to the fact that there are many ways to write a class. As in "let me see your version of a car class".

It might also be a combination of the above line, and inheritance. If my Ferrari class inherits from the car class, it is still a version of a car. A honda civic might be a very different car, but it is still a version of the same car class.

Those are my best guesses to the phrase, Is there a context that you are hearing it used in?
