I didn't get an EMail when a reply was sent

I'm new to cplusplus, in my 1st forum question I was expecting to get an EMail when someone responded to my question.
Should I have gotten a EMail?
If I should have gotten a EMail how do I get it setup?
I do have a valid EMail set up on my Account is there something else to setup?

At the bottom of this (and every) thread you will see "Tracking options for this topic:"
Select the "subscribe" option on threads you want email notification for.
