Practicing C++

[SOLVED]So I have learned the basics of C++ on a website called sololearn. However I want to go further with c++. So what is a good way to practice C++. I am definitely going to buy a book for c++ to get a more in depth understanding of the language. From what I have done so far, C++ is a great language. However it is very difficult. I have experience with other languages like C#(Csharp), JavaScript, and
C. I have already tried websites like Codewars and codechef and their both terrible. I could never understand what they were asking me to do. So what do you all think I should do to practice and overall get a better understanding of C++. Thank you in advance.
