applications blocked by email provider

Hi,
I'm trying to send some of my sample programs to my aunt, and they get blocked by the email service. Is java the answer to work around this obstacle?

thanks in advance for your help.

I guess the .exe file was blocked by the email service.

try to zip or rar it.
thanks for your response olred,
I have tried zipping it at no success, I guess a ftp would be the only way to send it. I wonder if there's a way to run it in a virtual enviroment throught the email. Is there some way to do it with ASP?

Hmm... I don't know what ASP is...

but if you can send it via ftp, your problem is solved..

i tried it before. just zip it twice. and add password.. it should work
yeah that's right blackcoder41

add password
ok I'll try that
thanks blackcoder

**Ya, I tried it with ziping it twice and it created a .zip extension so I think that was it. Cool!

I'm sorry,
but how do you create a password?

thanks for your help.
right click the file, go to winzip> then select encrypt
Ok thanks,
Could you please tell me why it said that the configuration was off and that it needed to be installed. I didn't include the debug file with it. Does that matter? I built the release using the configuration manager and sent the encrypted zipped release file to recipient. It worked fine on my computer. I would very much like to get this to work, could the file I sent to the one computer have been corrupted.

If you could help me I'd greatly appreciate it.
