It depends...some editors have it built in but some require you to download/install a compiler. I use Codeblocks..and it requires you to preset what compiler you want to use...some come with compilers and some do not..read the manual associated with your editor, or tell us the editor so we can help you with it.

what? you're still using turbo c++.. it's very old..
