I want to start reading the above book alongside the website I use to learn C++ (www.learncpp.com). My main concern is if it covers the STL because a lot of people have been critising the site I use for not covering that

what works for you wont' work for every one else and vise versa. Read it and see what you think... Then you'll know if it's a good book for you.
