Just C++?

Can we call our self a software engineer after learning C++ and Data Structures & Algorithm?
I'll probably sound prude, I would say not so. Software Engineering is a lot more than creating data structures and writing code. It includes design, planning, management, coding, and a lot more. Software Engineering itself is its entire own area of study. I certainly wouldn't call myself a software engineer yet.
Get down the aspect of programming feel VERY comfortable with it. Understand algorithms, data structures, and be able to create something that is useful and THEN you can call yourself a "software engineer" with pride and knowing NO ONE can take that from you. You worked hard to achieve that knowledge and NOW you're applying it and doing useful + cool things with it. If you can do that you DEFINITELY have this software engineer's respect.
At the end of the day this is a very argumentative subject. At the end of the day who cares what everyone else thinks. If you can do what I mentioned above. You will prove the wanna-be's and doubters wrong.
