Hey, everybody I was just wondering how long did it take you to master c++. Im asking to see if im just taking far to long or if it takes everybody a while.

I think it took me somewhere about 4-10 years, depending on the exact meaning of the word 'master'.
University courses take 4 years, and a person completing them can be considered intermediate at best. On the other hand, you learn about lot of other computer science stuff at university, besides learning C++.

C++ is always evolving so you can never truly master it. C++11, C++14 and C++17 all have added significant new functionality to the language.
