How to register Visual C++ 2008 Express?

Hi!
Ive got some projects developed in Visual C++ 2008 Express. Now I formatted my computer, and when reinstalling V C++ 2008 Express I realised that the link to registering doesnt work anymore. Does anyone know if there is a way to get a new register key for it? Else, is there a way to convert the projects to, say, Visual Studio 2013 Express? The wizard doesnt seem to be in the Express version. Or, would one way be to install the VS2013 full trial version, in order to make the project conversions?

Regards
Matt

Uhm, solved it by deleting a registry key (folder).
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/VCExpress/9.0/Registration

That is cool. But if you do upgrade I recommend VS2012. I tried 2013 and just got a bunch of pain in my backside. So I down graded to vs2012 and fell in love. We plan to run off together.
