Need help with coding!

I'm creating a timestamp where you input the date and then the seconds elapsed but I'm having problems making my program read the Leap year and days. I have a couple errors and things I have to fix but anyone have any idea on what I can do to make this better?

dealing with date time is quite complex.

i recommend try using boost library

http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_56_0/doc/html/date_time.html

it simplifies your problem.

you can also use QT it has a date time functionality.
