the right compiler

I hate to say this, but this forum is wavering. Honestly, the problem is too many damn kids continue to hijack every single thread! It's one thing to joke a little, but if the topics become driven by random comments and rants, then it's a major problem. And chrisname you are unfortunately the worst offender and the core of the problem. I've watched you drive your post number from a mear 52 to 568 in a couple of months, with about 70% of them being rants. Everyone needs to stick to the lounge for this kind of crap. Again, a few jokes here and there while staying on topic is fine, but stop derailing these threads.
Edit: Ok, I'll stop...

By the way, return 0, I only 'rant' on threads where
1. Someone is being lazy, e.g. homework questions (not questions about homework) or where they type up a bunch of illegible crap that I can't read. I go to a thread to help someone, and I can't understand what they're saying... it's ridiculous
2. Someone is asking ridiculous questions, e.g. the guy who asked for the product key to a compiler so he didn't have to pay.
I can't think of any other times I've gotten angry at people.

but I agree hijacking this thread was over the top. I won't do it any more, although I do think we need an informal atmosphere.

Another thing that annoys me, quite alot, is where someone posts a question, some people try to answer it, and then someone else goes in the same thread and asks a question. What? Make your own damn thread! Even when the people helping haven't finished.

Finally, most of those posts have actually been questions or threads in the Lounge.
