Practice, practice, practice..... Pick a project in your skill range and complete it, then move onto something more difficult. There's a list of exercises in one of the threads...

You can get better by just reading the forums...

I'm a pretty big beginner.
To get better, I read all the code i can.
Read the forum and try to help. (if i can) Learn if i cant...
