pos(point of sail)

hi evrybody , i want to program pos systems , but i dont have any information about pos system , and its programing, i would be grateful if U could do me a favour and recommend any useful refrences or information about that.
I'm not sure what you're looking for. Is it POS architecture or the actual business features or source code? Use google... if you can't name a current POS product on the market or at least spell out point of sale then I suspect you aren't ready to start coding one.
"Point Of Sale" systems are fairly complex pieces of software. I don't remember any good sites of the top of my head, but if you google around the (properly spelt) phrase and also around "Delphi" (which is often used for enterprise applications of this sort) you might get some good hits.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
i was kidding . it was completely obvious that it was a joke.(sail:D)
i work in a company in which i am in charge of programming pos systems .i take your your point and i agree with U .
however i suppose there are some similarities in programming all pos systems wich can help me.these devices have their own C libraries by which we can make programs .
i should cope with any obstacles or problems in association with users and pos systems.
(i dont have ANY inf about this subject // point of sail :d)

Is this a home grown POS system or industry leader? While there are some similarities, one POS's architecture can vastly differ from the next. For example one POS I'm dealing with now is written in VB6 with some components in C++. The database is a very decentralized architecture using these damn .dbf flat files. On the other hand, the new system I'm attempting to move to is very centralized with an oracle or sql server back end written in java and some C++ components. What devices are you referring to have their own C libraries? The POS terminals?
