the c++ programming language book

hi, i just came across an old book in my closet that i was wondering if it is still okay to relearn from? i know it is awesome and i read it years ago but since the 11 update i was afraid it would not be any good now?
the c++ programming language special edition (3rd)since i have already been working with the new stuff since it came out would this be a huge step backwards??

Why not The C++ Programming Language 4th edition, since it talks about C++11.

I'd imagine there is still a lot of relevant information in the book which can still be applied. If you are after just the new stuff then get a book which focuses on the upgraded version.

yeah the 4th would be nice but it wasnt in my closet when i looked....
