which compiler works with Kernighan,Ritchie Book ?

Hi everybody ,
I am using Kernighan , Ritchie C programming language book and I wonder if anyone can suggest which compiler to use with the book.I have MS VS2008 and Borland C++ 5 but both does not work with many of the book examples...

I believe you are typing the code in incorrectly because I use VC++ and have had no problems at all.

try gcc/mingw with cygwin. Also can you post an example of the code that isn't working and where it is going wrong? And remember please use [co de][/co de] tags , w/o spaces.
