i am currently a junior in high school, and this summer i will be taking an american sign language class at my local community college. while looking through the course selection i came across an online class offered there called "introduction to computer programming: Language c++" now i have been learning c++ on my own since probably october 2013 so i am not exactly new to it. but i am by no means good. and im sure i have picked up some bad habits. also my knowledge is probably spread out in what i do know and what i should know.
Anyways what exactly would a course like this include?
Has anyone taken a class like this?
i have been seriously considering software engineering for a career.
so is it worth taking a class like this? Personally i would think any extra class would be worth it. especially if i find it interesting. do you agree? if not why and what should i be looking at instead if i really want to take a beginners course on c++?
