Hi quick question to all the advanced programmers out there!
I'm currently enrolled in a c++ class at my university for my biotech major and i was wondering if you guys could recommend any good c++ books that are not so dull and dense....one that covers the essentials as much as possible for an absolute newbie in plain english. My textbook for my course is A first book of c++. While it covers the basics i feel it is too dense making it hard to really understand and i cant get the concepts very well. Any recommendations? One with good practice would also be good.
one book I would recommend is c++ without fear, a pretty good beginner book in my opinion. It has a good way of explaining topics, giving great examples, and having build your own activities.
