Programming project ideas

I am a 2nd semester student at a CSU and I am looking for some projects I can do in my spare time that would be fun and help me grasp a better understanding of cpp. My current computer course is Programming and Algorithms 2, basically an intro to the algorithms portion and how the code works. So I'm not that advanced in the coding yet. Thanks in advance!
