Facing trouble while installing g++ from cygwin

Hi,

I know this might be off the topic/forum area but I am desperately trying to resolve a problem when I am trying to install g++ from Cygwin on wndows7.
The "select packages" page doesn't show me gcc, gdb and make. :-(

Has someone faced same problem and know how I can resolve this.

Yes it is off topic. But you might want to try point to a good repository so that it has all packages from Cygwin. these packages will be under development group

If you don't need to specifically use Gcc then can use clang for Windows or Visual Studio Express Edition both are native Windows and free, another alternative is to use MinGW
