Mex-File

Hello!

I am nearly a beginner in programming and need some help with the following:
I wrote a program which writes the calculated values into a text file. Now I want to improve this by writing my data into a Mex-File so I can use the values in Matlab. My problem is, that I do not know how to start. I read some texts in the web but it did not help. So I hope I can find some advice.
I have no generated code because I first need some basic ideas.
I hope somebody is able to help me.
