Problems whit queue

Hello there i am still a newbie and i really having troubles trying to understand how to make a queue, do you have some advise to build one?

What are you having trouble understanding? How are you implementing the queue (list based, reference based, array based)? Do you have any code yet? If so, can you post it (in [code][/code] tags of course *glares*)?
