Hello Cplusplus, my name is Tim. I am brand new to C++. I would like to learn C++ but I really have no clue where to start. I have programmed on TI-84 graphing calculators before but I don't know how computer programs and languages work. Can anyone please help how I can, for example, make my first program? Any other tips are gladly accepted!
Well for starters you can look through the Documentation section on this website. It's pretty helpful. Another good idea is to get a book of some sort that is instructive. As for other tips: always keep practicing! Some things you'll hate and struggle with but with practice become simple. Good luck!
if i may. some people learn best when hearing and doing things at the same time. and if so i think you should look at youtube. there are quite a lot of c++ tutorials there. i would recommend codingmadeeasy's tutorials as he teaches C++ and he also teaches 2d graphics so you can stick with his tutorials until you are doing well with 2d.
