Bracketing Search
My friend and I are doing this one. We are able to do all of the starts except the quad one. We know you have to bisect it since this is a probability math problem, but we are just stuck. If there is any articles or if anyone can show us a little bit of the code to get started we would appreciate it!
use 2 variables that keeps track of the ranges & changes accordingly base on if the user inputs too low or too high, personally i don't think the computer can guess it in 7 or less because that depends on the user and the random numbers given by the computer
In the direction it never stated it had to be random, so we are starting at 50. We are using a formula my friend though of cGuess = Cguess +- abs(lastGuess - cGuess)/2, but that is coming up short.
