beginning
im in the beginning of starting my computer science degree and i have worked all summer and saved up for a computer cause i dont have one of my own. Now i understand that i should buy a computer not only for programming but also for my own priorities. All i know is that i want a laptop because its portable and i want it to help me out writing papers and taking notes for school. Now my question is do i need a powerful laptop to write code or are there any real system or computer requirements i should look for when i look to buy one?
I think the most important characteristics is the time during which the computer can work without switching on in power.
well since im a neophyte should i be worried about that kind of problems or should i be more focused on another aspect of the computer?
