question about file transfering
i will have the same program running on two different computers
it deals with adding and editing users
the users information is saved in a UML file
so when one program makes changes I want the UML file to transfer to the other program
my question is can the file transfer automatically overwrite the old UML file and replace it with the new one?
i don't want anything popping up on the screen asking to confirm replacing the file

you just have to make sure that you have the rights to do so. Otherwise there schouldn't be a problem
what is your problem. I'd guess that it's not the rights otherwise it can get complicated.
i haven't written the code for this yet. I just wanted to check if it was possible
