My saved .cpp file is having trouble opening
Hi,
I'm 2 weeks into c++ and use microsoft visual c++ 2010 as my compiler. Anyway, I saved a text encoder project that I've been working on, which I've spent quite a bit of time on, as a .cpp file. When I opened it later tonight, the compiler screen just showed the background and did nothing, and then notepad opened with a blank 'note' where I guess my code was supposed to be, but it wasn't there. What happened? Please let me know asap. Thanks.

How was the text encoder project initially saved? Was the original file suppose to be this text file?
