How to know if my gotoxy code is working correctly in Eclipse Juno CDT?

Given below is a simple report card program I made in school using Turbo C++. At home I use Eclipse Juno CDT and GCC 4.7. So when I ran my original code on Eclipse, I faced problems with gotoxy not being resolved. I looked up the net found a perfect post for my problem here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7955145/which-header-file-i-need-to-include-to-use-gotoxy-function
[Surprisingly, the one who asked the question was also making a report card, but he was using classes and all those concepts which I don't haven't learnt yet.] Now my gotoxy was working fine with building. But when I executed the program, I didn't see the characters at the right coordinates. All the text was aligned to left like it is there in a normal program.

My question is, that how can we see all the text positioned at programmed coordinates in Eclipse?
