guys i m using windows 8..just started learning c++ in my office...In our office we use visual studio c++ 6.0...I think its not compatible for windows 8...please suggest me something else...

Just grab a more recent version. VS2012 was designed for Windows 8. They have both free and paid versions, depending on your needs.
There are also many free IDE's out there.
