studying from c++ books

I have 2 books on me. Accelerated C++ and C++ primer. I was wondering what would be the best way to study from them. I heard that they were complements so if you don't understand from 1 book, you use the other and so on. Is there a suggested way to study from the books?

Read them.
I don't mean to be hostile, that's literally my recommendation. I read Accelerated C++ from cover to cover and learned tons.
Accelerated C++ would be the best book to start with, As it has program examples.
I read everywhere that C++ Primer is a good beginner's book, But It's more
a reference book. Without prior C++ experience it has a steep learning curve,
Due to the lack of example's.
