Beginner with Allegro

Hey, guys! I am new with Allegro. I do C++ (Dev C++ with MingW) and I would like some advice, and maybe a little help. I do not really have any code that has problems, but I just need a bit of info, such as getting started, displaying text, displaying images, etc. So, just post whatever you think might be helpful!
