Is anyone else experiencing the not logging in thing until you enter a thread? I just see that back-and-forth animation in the corner anywhere else.

Yes, we do. It has been pointed out in other threads. Also, while we're complaining, I should add that when you press a link to the last post on a thread which has several pages, you are sent to, for example http://www.cplusplus.com/forum/lounge/45307/page2/#msg246485 instead of http://www.cplusplus.com/forum/lounge/45307/2/#msg246485

In Chrome 12.0.742.100, I get the login issue, but I haven't noticed the other.
@moorecm As a temporary fix, navigate to a forum thread while it's trying to log in. It works then :)

Interesting... I'm using Chrome 12.0.742.100 for OS X, and I have no such issue.

It only happens on and off for me. It seems like it switches it's behavior every few hours, like it will work fine with several different browser sessions, but then later just leaving the site and coming back will cause it to happen.

While on this subject, quite frequently when visiting this site or going from one page to the next I frequently get the following message. Does anyone else?
No data received
Unable to load the web page because the server sent no data.
...
Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data.
I sometimes have to refresh 5 or more times...

Sometimes I can only access the homepage and all other pages are blocked by the server with a different error every time I refresh the page...

I get that too. When trying to reply to a PM, I get a 'Website Error' with unknown message.

Yeah, or other times it doesn't remember the username of the person to reply to.
