I think I accidentally reported a message that was actually really helpful. Is there a way to undo that, or can the moderators at least recognize accidental/unjustified reports? I just want to make sure it doesn't automatically punish someone...
I'm sure the moderator(s) are capable of reading the reported post, and deciding for themselves whether the post is actionable - which, presumably, it wasn't.
I felt a bit guilty a couple of weeks ago. A poster made a lengthy post that answered someone's question, but also contained some insulting comments at the end. I reported for the insults, but hadn't noticed that it was that user's first post, so the entire post was automatically deleted, taking out the useful content as well as the insults.
