Books for Learning C++

I have used C++ for a handful of programs within school-related projects and just finished "Jumping into C++" by Alex Allain. Now, I'm wondering what book I should read next. I am considering "Practical C++ Programming" by Steve Oualline or "Effective C++" by Steve Meyers. I'm just not sure what book would fall in the correct learning progression without too much overlap. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the info!
C++ for dummies 6th edition is great! The compiler included is pretty good too!

I appreciate the suggestion. However, I'm looking for a book that is one step up from the basic level that "Jumping into C++" provided.
