| Bio: | Accustomed to being around primarily with adults I was always mature for my age. Even my own friends who call me Dhan annoyed me during my adolescent years. At an early age, I knew our stand in financial matters. Day by day, I made myself aware of our expenses and needs. So, proactively my siblings and I are helping our parents in manning our family's "Lechon" Business. There were times when we had to wake up at dawn every other day to grace market days and sell our livestocks. My Saturdays and Sundays are spent in public markets too. There are times when I had to skip classes so I could help my father in his business especially during town fiestas. Even though, I still excelled in most of my many and varied hobbies. I did well in school often to join cultural presentations during most important school events. I like Logic, solving problems and analyzing. I love math, but it doesn’t mean that I’m good at it. I also am into debates. I easily get annoyed with people who act as if they know everything where in fact they don’t. Looking back I'm sure I was quiet smug, self awareness wasn't something I learned until many years later.
In and out of school, I am fully aware of the pressure placed on me by my family and their high expectations as far as growing up a good person is concerned. Contentedly, I graduated high school, although I wasn't part of the honor roles, I knew that I had equipped myself with the knowledge I need to skip college and start taking a diversed path in my life. I was chosen as one of the scholars under the local government of Leyte - Income Creating Opportunity Through Technology Program or the so called ICOT-P spearheaded by our very own Governor of Leyte. There I continued the trend of my potentials in logical perspectives of software programming. At the age of 16, I was given the opportunity to have my first job at POS Technology Solution in Leyte and stayed for two years. Fortunately, I took an offer to be a free lance programmer where I get and had a handful savings enough to buy me my own personal laptop and a bike. I knew I still have a mission to accomplish. I have a long list of the thing s I want to do. I want to see myself 5 years from now speaking to a group of people as their leader. This is manifested by my skills in strategic planning, collaborative approach and teamwork. A manager of a particular working environment is what I mean. My passion to motivate people keeps the flame in me to work hard and achieve this someday. I'm highly motivated to pursue my ambitions in life. Seeing my family and loved ones stable and settled with my few helps - perhaps I would hear myself saying: “MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!”. The third among the seven children of Danilo Cordero Condes Sr. and Nilfa Malate Patricio. The one who grew up in a small humble town of three great datus (chieftains) - Tolosa Leyte and now, 22 years of age - I am Danilo Patricio Condes Jr. |
