by Marci Crane, CPT As a pilates instructor or studio owner you are familiar with the question: “How Can I Attract More Clients?” The truth is that you know you have a valuable product (pilates) to share and that you have your own unique way of teaching and/or running your own studio. So how do you get more people into the studio to experience the classes you offer? Versatility The truth is that many people don’t know much about pilates. As a lover of pilates, you’ve probably tried to spread the “pilates gospel” but you’ve learned that most people are not quite the adorable pilates nerd that you are! Of course your clients love your classes but for the most part they don’t have the time to study pilates as deeply as you have. So for many pilates studio owners or teachers the answer may be to increase your versatility. For example, maybe what you need is to add other types of fitness classes to your schedule. After all, you like variety and so do your clients! New classes will add a bit of spice to the daily/weekly workout schedule and will very likely boost attendance. Many studios double or triple their attendance simply by adding fun, NEW, and dynamic classes to their repertoire. |
