How to turn ComCtl32.dll Version 6 in an Application That Uses Only Standard Extensions.. I wanna enable the visual styles. I'm using CODE:BLOCKS 17.12 but certain elements are missing when I call commctrl.h ?
I doubt it will help with your problem but there is a newer version of Code::Blocks. 20.03. You might want to update C::B.
When dealing with Win32 API stuff I use Visual Studio. 2019 Community. I've found other Windows compatible compilers don't work as easily for GUI apps.
