How to learn programming as a newbie?

Decide on what programming language you want to learn first. Then choose your programming tools.

C++ is not a bad choice, though it does have a steep learning curve.

How do DanielS444, do you have any idea yet what you are interested in programming? i.e. embedded systems, IoT, AI, Desktop Apps, Games, Web, mobile...

I do not know whether we are allowed to mention specifics, but the best resource I have found since I began teaching myself C++ in August is a website that offers online classes with 30 to 60 hours of videos and exercises for as little as ~$10.00 on sale. I do not want to violate any terms of service. So, I will just say the best online tutor I have found so far is a man named Abdul Bari.

There are various people who offer free C++ tutorial videos on YouTube. My favorite so far is Saldina Nurak.

As Furry Guy mentioned, the website learncpp has a great online tutorial as well, albeit apparently with no videos.
