Visual C++ version 6.0 is not worth looking for, it is way too old.
Visual C++ 2005 express (AKA version 8) may be available somewhere for download.
If you are after non-free edition (standard,pro,etc) you will not likely find anyone telling you where to find it. |

First you never own a copy of Windows, you only buy a license to use it.
Second, the only free licence for VC++ is the Express edition. |
